Its just so annoying how aphobes are like “Ace discourse is the most ridiculous discourse on tumblr dot com!! haha look at those stewpid tumblypoos fighting each other coz of ace discourse” when literally THEY are the reason it exists in the first place.I assure you me and other aces have no interest in fighting with other people in LGBT community for wanting to be treated with respect and not have my experiences invalidated on a daily basis when at the end of the day we all are being ridiculed by the privileged cisgender heterosexual+romantic society for being us and fighting each other is not going to be productive at all.
YOU are the ones who started and perpetuate this “ace discourse” because a few years ago people had no doubt about asexuality being a valid identity and ace people belonging in the lgbtqa community.YOU are one who thinks it is acceptable to turn someone’s existence into a a discourse by reblogging or making posts mocking or ridiculing a group of people for existing.
Stop acting like y’all arent the reason many asexual people on this website are afraid to talk about their experiences and express themselves in the fear that some popular aphobic blogger is gonna reblog it with some caption calling them “cringey” and their existence might be turned into a punchline on a 5k tumblr posts and they might be sent horrible messages .
Even if you arent spending your time running an ace discourse blog but r still contributing the unnecessary and undeserved hate towards ace people by any way,you are still a shitty person.
If you dont want to see ace discourse anymore, Leave.Ace.People.ALONE. Stop harassing us and let us have the freedom to decide weather we want to be a part of the LGBT+ community or not.
