Because Alucard loses and regenerates his teeth often he has been known to lose his wisdom teeth, not always bt trauma bit because he is just so long lived. Even The King of All Vampires struggles with regrowing wisdom teeth. While people are around he can keep a visage that it aint no big deal. But as soon as he’s on his own, it’s face down in his coffin whining and even in a last ditch effort reaching for the human paracetamol. It’s usually done and over within 24 hours at most.
Alucard might have little interest in humans but he cannot bring himself to ignore the plight of children in harm’s way.

A rogue vampire around or near children/ in a position to potentially harm children? There’s not even a word spoken, no time put off with toying with them or siing them up.

But if you look at his glasses however you will notice that he has the little guards on the side. Now glasses like that would reduce wind and debris blowing into your eyes sideways, so they are most likely to offer protection while he works with his firearms. Also there is to consider that Alucard day walks and the lenses makes the day light and artificial lights less troublesome to his eyes that are now attuned to darkness. Though Im pretty sure in the real world lenses for that purpose would be blue.

And in the manga Alucard’s attitude is basically “fuck it we’ll steal a plane”, with no guarantee of Pip or Seras being able to pilot it, or being able to hijack a pilot.
He probably could very easily just the his ability to make humans do as he pleases via hypnosis. Just calmly pretending to be the pilot, that Seras and Pip are his crew.
But think about it He was able to pilot the SR-71 Blackbird by himself, he knew all of it’s specs and understood the terminology, there was passion when he spoke about it.
