Rise and shine little bees! ☀️🐝

This little bee hatchling is one of the several leaf cutter bee species
that are native to the UK. They’re valuable pollinators in the garden
and a gardener’s friend 😀 Signs of their presence can be seen in plants that have had elliptical shapes cut from their leaves, particularly on roses.

Thank you so much to Emily Doorish for allowing us to share this video,
helping to raise awareness of the importance of solitary bees during #SolitaryBeeWeek.

OMG BABY BEE

mrskohakusato:

I realized now, that the Hellsing Ova cuts out and switches a lot stuff around. for insistence in episode 2, in the scene where Walter tells Seras he threw out her bed and replaced it with a coffin, which understandably makes her upset,  Walter asks her if she still having issues with her new lifestyle, Alucard enters calls her idiot for not adhering to the fact that she is now a vampire, and he chews her out a bit, and then it ends and the conversation changes to topic of their weapons.

In the manga, it goes similarly, with Walter throwing out Seras’ bed, Seras gets upset and Walter goes on to explain why she needs to sleep in a coffin and that she needs to drink the blood. In the anime Seras doesn’t say anything after that, but in the manga she tells Walter that she’s afraid of drinking the blood, because she’ll lose something important.

This scene just enforces the fact, that Seras is still at a loss, thrown completely into a world and lifestyle that might force her to end up losing her humanity/innocence. Seras does not want to be a monster, I might be looking much into it, but I also think in her deep sub-conscious , she never, ever wants to become the same people that murder her parents and defiled her mother’s corpse. Seras’ character has always been about justice,  and striving to be he  a police officer was a chance to uphold those ideologies. And now that she has become a vampire, she has to drink human blood in order to live, something that is completely taboo to her, so course she would be uncomfortable wanting to indulge in any kind of  blood lust.

Like the anime, Alucard comes in and starts chewing her out.

The conversations of the anime and Manga  pretty much go the same way, Alucard tells her that she chose the night, and because of  that she can never return to the light. etc.

But, here’s where the scene differ, in the OVA, like I said it just ends, with Walter gifting Alucard with Jackal.

In the Manga, Alucard takes in Seras dejected appearance and pretty much dismisses, his previous statement, saying that she’s doing fine and she can can keep tip-toeing her way along and that it really doesn’t bother him.

It just one small scene, but for me it makes a big difference and this why I prefer the manga version than the Ova/Anime’s interpretation. But, Also it shows that Alucard isn’t completely cold-hearted, as he appears. And it’s also another moment between these two that’s kind of heart warming, well at least to me, anyways.
