If you haven’t gotten an answer yet, the tumblr app got deleted from the apple app store on 16th and they’re deleting blogs marked NSFW because they might be porn bots. And today, staff admitted that it’s (also?) because of child pornography. Basically every social media app requires a system to weed out that content and tumblr did not meet their standards because some were still slipping through it. They’re working on improving both things right now I believe. ~pearlycard

YEAH, I finally googled it, and for once it gave me relevant news about that :’ ) I hope it gets rid of all the mass amount of porn bots for a while, but it’ll never prevent them from making more, lol. I DEF hope it gets rid of the child pornography >: ( None of that anywhere, please, ugh. But I really hope it doesn’t get rid of blogs that happen to have some NSFW content as topics, bc I follow some blogs (like the lovely MonsterLoversAnonymous~) that are specifically trying to make sure minors are NOT following them, and make LOVELY posts, but occasionally also post NSFW things, so. :’ ) Pls let them survive, god. Please.
